The Comox Valley Pedestrian/Cycling Bridge Project is a community initiative to connect and enhance the pedestrian and cycling infrastructure that is currently being enjoyed in Courtenay today. Here is a short video of what is and could be.

Kicking Horse Pedestrian Bridge - Golden BC

Used with permission of the Town of Golden, Celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the bridge on 02 Oct 11. Kicking Horse Pedestrian Bridge is the longest freestanding timber frame bridge in Canada. Planned as a community project by the Timber Framers Guild, volunteers from Golden were joined by carpenters and timber framers from the United States and from Europe. The bridge structure is 150 feet (46 m) long, with a 210,000-pound Burr Arch structure. The bridge was completed in September 2001.

Silver Park 2008, Missoula, Montana

 Video, Slideshow  Timber Framers Guild volunteers gathered in Missoula, Montana in September 2008 to construct a collection of small park pavilions in Silver Park.
